The Midfield Chamber of Commerce spread a lot of goodwill on buns on Friday, Nov. 2nd as it gave away free hot dogs, chips, and soft drinks to shoppers in celebration of Shoppers Appreciation Day.
The goal was to bring attention to our shopping areas before the holiday season begins after Thanksgiving, and to give the Chamber some visibility prior to a membership drive.
The give-away took place behind Krispy Kreme doughnuts in the Western Hills Shopping Center and a lot of shoppers were joined by people from the community center, police, fire, and city hall.
Special thanks to Ala. Power Co., Piggly Wiggly, Pepsi Cola, and Golden Flake for helping to make this event affordable and successful.
